Looking Up On A Dark Night
I was sitting outside enjoying the calm summer night out in the country. It was amazing to me how much more of the sky I could see when all of the city lights were way off nowhere to be seen. The stars weren't particularly bright that night, but I could see the cosmic dust in the sky and it was beautiful. That was my inspiration for this piece. The ashes become the stars inside.
